Bejeweled Blitz 3
Bejeweled Blitz 3 is PopCap's latest version of the popular Facebook game, and was released on the October 9th 2009.
This Firefox extension allows you to get any amount of points and coins you like. It works by redirecting requests for the game .swf file to my server.
Your browser receives my Flash applet, which pretends to be the game and sends whatever information you give it to PopCap's servers.
About this extension: There are several approaches to cheat in this game. Probably the easiest would be to use memory hacking, or perhaps replay attacks (however they're easily patchable).
Another alternative is to create a bot, which has already been done before (including by me, for an older version of Bejeweled Blitz).
The latest builds of the game are obfuscated, which means that my older method (substituting an older SWF with debugging "cheats") wouldn't work (not to mention that it'd lack newer features introduced in the game).
However, I decided to accept PopCap's challenge and tackle the problem head-on, by writing an ActionScript 3 deobfuscator and figuring out the encryption algorithms.
Let me know if you have questions or comments.
Notes:
- If "nothing happens" when you click on "Install Extension", look for the yellow bar at the top of the page.
- Don't forget to restart Firefox after installing the extension.
- Some people report that they had to restart their computer to get the extension to work.
- After installing the extension, you'll know if it works by opening the game's page on Facebook. You should get something completely different instead of the game.
- If it doesn't work, first try clearing your browser's cache.
- The extension won't work if you use a proxy to browse the web.
- The extension might also not work if you're behind a firewall which blocks certain ports (8001 in this case). This is common for school/university/corporate networks.
If the game doesn't load at all after you install my extension, you can be sure that this is the case for you.
- If the extension doesn't work (has no effect) no matter what, another extension or a Firefox setting might be causing the problem.
Try installing the extension in a new Firefox profile.
- There is a limit on how many coins you can get in one go. See here for more information.
- If you get errors or other problems with the game, first check if they are gone before disabling the extension. PopCap's servers aren't bulletproof, and may have some issues periodically.
If the problem persists after uninstalling the extension, then it's not the extension's fault.
- To uninstall the extension (same as with any other Firefox extension), go to Tools → Add-ons. See here for more information.
Note that you'll probably need to clear your cache to get your browser to reload the original game files from PopCap's website.
- Note that this extension doesn't add a toolbar or anything. Ignore any guides that mention GreaseMonkey, UserScript or JavaScript files, as they are outdated.
If you see a non-working toolbar, it's from the old UserScript, and you should uninstall it from GreaseMonkey.
- Likewise, ignore guides that mention cheats that allow you to edit the game board using hotkeys – those are regarding an older version as well.
- If you were silly enough to install the GreaseMonkey script from userscripts.org that tells you not to install it and don't know how to remove it,
go to Tools → GreaseMonkey → Manage user scripts, select "DO NOT INSTALL THIS SCRIPT" (seriously, why did you install it?), and click Uninstall.
- How you use this extension is up to your own responsibility. I am not responsible for any mis-use of any contents on this page.

Georgi: the extension works fine for me in Firefox 3.6.2.
Nicholas & Susanna: thanks for your feedback. When I created the extension, there was no other way - I couldn't edit the game to add cheats like in older versions. I can do this now, but do you really think it's the better thing to do? I mean, the way it is now it allows you to get any amount of score & coins, while the old one just let you have fun with the game board.

All of a sudden when i load up bejeweled it doesn't go to the cheat anymore but loads the game up normally instead? What can i do?I installed firefox 3.6.2. and the new extension.I tried restarting my computer and clearing the cache but nothing seems to be working. Can u please help!!

Make sure the extension version in Tools -> Addons is 2.1. If it isn't, remove the old extension, and then install the new one.

That's because you were silly and installed the script called "DO NOT INSTALL THIS SCRIPT". From the page:
"If you were silly enough to install the GreaseMonkey script from userscripts.org that tells you not to install it and don't know how to remove it, go to Tools -> GreaseMonkey -> Manage user scripts, select "DO NOT INSTALL THIS SCRIPT" (seriously, why did you install it?), and click Uninstall."

Here, let me copy and paste the text from this very page for "Wee" and "therealdeal", who are too lame to bother reading it themselves:
"For the people who are too impatient to read the scrolling message, you can get your game back by disabling or uninstalling the extension (Tools -> Add-ons in Firefox). If the game doesn't return up after you disable the extension, refresh the page (hit F5), or clear your cache."
The hacker: try entering saner (smaller) values, e.g. around 1000 at a time.

I tried this, got it to work, but don't like not playing so I have tried EVERYthing to uninstall it, but I can't! I tried the "greasemonkey" menu on Firefox, and there is no bejeweled script listed, but yet still I can't play the game! I have been trying for over a week to remove this. Please help? I installed this, and got it to work, but now I want to PLAY the game so I want to disable it... only it won't disable. I go to Firefox tools, disable it... it's still there. Reboot... still there. Trace: Is it really so hard to read this page carefully? You need to refresh or clear your cache after disabling or uninstalling the extension! And disabling will not delete the extension, of course it'll still be in the Add-ons list - it's common sense, jeez! Wow, thanks guys, great job. Mine is working fine, just added my coins needed. When i adjusted score, error occurred, but that 'cos i put 0 for coins, as long as a number in the coins the score adds. Had not realised all was well so first added coins seperate with nil score...all worked very well for me...carry on the great work. Thanks a million !! ( coins?! )

I've done a little experimentation with coins myself, and I found the following:
As an exception to the above, for some reason, exactly 1000000 worksI'm going to update the interface to change the coin edit box's color to red if it doesn't meet the above criteria.
Edit: entering 1000000 coins doesn't work any more.

I like to use this to add coins for boosters but it's only allowing me to add 1600 at a time. It worked great until last week's reset of scores. Is there a block on the game now to only credit 1600 coins per run?

Midnightangel: it looks like your Firefox is not liking my extension for some reason? You could try downloading it with another browser and opening it with Firefox. If that doesn't work, try with a new Firefox profile, or reinstalling Firefox altogether.

Thanks for the hack it works great :), just a slight problem with the coins I had over a million but seems to have gone into minus mode so unable to use the boosts at this point in time. Any suggestions on how I can get the coins back to positive so as to use the boosts?

Previously you could enter the exact same amount but without the minus, but that probably won't work now. I guess you could keep adding millions until you reach and go beyond zero, though if you have minus 1 billion coins that could take a while...

Fenominom: I can't answer for any of PopCap's actions! As it's their game, they could certainly ban you from playing Bejeweled with your Facebook account, but I've never heard this happening to anyone.

I didnt leave much detail on my last message sorry. I found out about your website on "Ehow." And he runs you through the steps to get the extensions and firefox, etc. And shows that when your at the cheat/"green" screen and you click play bejeweled there are no Hotkeys or anything to make Rainbow Gems, or Bonus Multipliers.

Great Fun this is an awesome cheat Works 100% for me, Just 1 simple question is there a cheat for the Off website version, I helped Beta test this game Well until they came out with the full version you could use the internal debuggers they had like R for replay so if you got stuck you could replay easy until you seen a match. 1600 coins is the limit. Anything greater will be ignored. I've tested this using Cheat Engine to increase my coins and was totally frustrated when I'd just made it past that to 1700 coins earned, only to check my balance on another browser (Google Chrome) to find it didn't register those earned coins.
So, if you send more than 1600 coins, pop cap's server will ignore it.

CJH : The maximum for the score is 1,000,000,000 and the maximum for the coins is 1,000,000.
I wouldn't use 1,000,000,000 for the score though, cuz that's far too much.

It was working just fine the other day, and now when I log in on firefox and try to use it, all I get is a white screen where the game should be....? I tried reinstalling it, and of course cleared my cache, still nothing works.... I see the adds in the sidebar, and the facebook bar is at the top, but it is not working. Should I try installing a new firefox profile or what? I have a feeling it won't work that way either.....maybe the jig is up?? Thx a million~

If you could do a cheat similar to the old version where you could play with the gameboard, I would absolutely love it. And I'm sure with your considerable talents and benevolence would love to produce this also.

I sent a message to PopCap because someone messed with my account and my coins went negative and I still do not know who did that... But PopCap helped me reset my coins to 25,000. Hope this helps.

Got an interesting situation here. Downloaded extension. Cleared Cache. Using a second profile. Tried downloading it again with Safari...then moved it to my PC..When I log in and click the game link it sends me directly to the game a usual.
The only way I actually see your program is when I look at replays people post on their wall. (popcap now allows you to watch a replay when somebody posts the score to their wall....Im not sure if you are aware of this or how new it is.)
P.S. Firewall is disabled, of course. And I do see 2.1 in the add-on section. I'll check back on Sunday if you have a chance to get back to this comment. Thanx.....keep it rollin.

Looks like the maximum number of coins it will allow is 1,600. That's probably the theoretical maximum number obtainable in an actual game. I'm sure there'll be a workaround soon! I just hope it comes before Tuesday. I need those coins to continue dominating the leaderboard!!

Apparently Facebook has blocked any attempt to submit more than 1600 coins to the Popcap servers. Facebook, however, still can submit 1 million coins to Popcap if you purchase them online. So it seems that Popcap can still accept 1 million from Facebook, but not from the firefox extension.... I wonder why Facebook just didn't block it completely? It also appears that you can still alter your scores though...

its actually a perk that I cant have 1Mill coins...cuz now I just sit there and input 1600 coins everytime, and leave the 25K in there so I keep getting medals for it. So I dont mind cuz i will now eventually get gold stars in all of my medals...a patch would be nice, but its not as bad as everyone is making it out to be...i can live with this

Cleared cache. Not allowing 1000000. Created a new profile and D/L'ed flash 10, still not allowing 1000000. Since I have the desktop version and the BBTrainer it's not a big deal to me, but looks like Popcap has "cracked" the crack. Before I could input almost any amount of coins, until I got over 9000000 collected, as long as I added the zeros in the body of the number instead of at the front.

Hey CyberShadow... I have Firefox version 3.6.3... and the add on is bejewled blitz 3 2.1 .. I cannot get it to work. I have cleared my cache, and rebooted, uninstalled and reinstalled the add on, as well tried a different version of the add on. When I go to play the game, the new screen comes up, and different music plays, but when I hold the keys for the special gems and such, nothing happens.. Any idea on what i'm doing wrong, or anything else I can try? Thanks!!

If you use ALL of your coins all the way to ZERO, then and only then can you add 1 million coins, if you have any coins at all it will only let you add 1500 at a time, which is low. I enjoy the add coins feature the most because it makes the game more enjoyable.

Thanks to Shadow ive been enjoying this game and dominating the score board,however 1M coins wont work anymore. But so far the best way i found to get coins is open 4 tabs (thats the number of tabs it takes for me to refresh the 1st one when im done with the 4th one) and copy paste 1600 then start to send coins (make sure to click ok or else it wont refresh). It took me 5 mins to get 100000, so it would take 50 mins to get 1M (compared to a couple seconds from before lol) But 1m coins usally last me a week so i guess its still allright, but of course we have to waste 50 mins of our life time on this detesting repetitiveness. Ok, this took me a little while to figure out... I came up with a workaround to get 1,000,000+ coins with Cybershadow's brilliant cheat.
But first I'd like to thank Cybershadow, not only for his work on this cheat, but for all his work. He's a fucking genius.
Second, this workaround is not for everybody. If you are leaving comments asking how to install the add-on, or if you posted a comment about getting an error after the first 10 people, or if you are asking questions about the greasemonkey scripts not working, this is probably a little to complicated for you. The following directions are very clear, please do not respond asking for help because I won't answer. Here's the best I could come up with:
1. Download <a href="http://www.fiddler2.com/fiddler2/version.asp" target="_blank">Fiddler2</a>. 2. Close Firefox (and all other browsers), and install fiddler2. 3. Open fiddler2, click "File" on the menu bar and make sure "capture traffic" is checked. Also click the "Auto Decode" button in the top toolbar (in between "Streaming" and "Process Filter"). 4. Open Firefox, make sure Cybershadow's add-on is enabled, log onto Facebook, and go to Bejeweled Blitz. 5. In Firefox, click on "Tools" in the menu bar, then in the "Monitor with Fiddler" sub-menu, click "Force traffic to Fiddler". 6. Now back on Cybershadow's cheat enter 1600 coins and click "Send". 7. Leave Firefox open and go back to Fiddler. You should see "labs.popcap.com http://labs.popcap.com/facebook/bj2/report_score.php" under "web sessions". Highlight that line. 8. Hold the "Shift" key on your keyboard and click "Reissue" at the top with your mouse. Type "625" in the box that pops up then hit "ok".
This will simply resend the 1600 coin request 625 times which will give you 1,000,000 coins. I'm sure you can use it to get gold medals too, just enter whatever score you want before you reissue the request. If this stops working, its not my fault, and I most likely won't find a fix. And everyone please stop complaining to Cybershadow, you all act like he owes it to you to update his cheat. Personally I am just thankful that he spent the time to make it in the first place. And I am thankful for his insightful blog. Have fun with this, hope it works for everyone.

Here it is again, this is the short version. (1) Download Fiddler2 (google search for it). (2) Close Firefox, install Fiddler. (3) start fiddler, make sure capture traffic is ticked under File menu, and click Auto Decode on the toolbar, keep Fiddler open. (5) go back to fiddler, highlight the line that has "report score" in it, then hold shift and click "reissue" button on toolbar. enter 625 to send you 1,000,000 coins.

Also you can use this to get Gold medals, or if you don't want it to look like you've all of a sudden played a bunch of games, just make your score 1 point or something before reissuing the report score request. First, thanks to Kingjoe and Cybershadow !!! Have worked on Kingjoe's fiddler2 strategy and there is one glitch. Fiddler2 does not show under Web Session any record that popcap bejeweled was played. I did enter 1600 coins with Cybershadow's cheat on and sent it with Fiddler2 enabled. I checked force traffic and auto decode. I have nothing to highlight and no pop up box in order to multiply coins. The only thing under web sessions is indication of fiddler 2 update check. I appreciate all the work that's been done and apologize for asking. I know it's irritating to the faster learners here. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

just a note i just found out cuz pages weren't loading after fiddler and it sets your connection to use proxy you have to go back into options and change it back to normal settings.
i am still having problems with loading pages bejeweled is taken over 30 minutes to load and am refreshing to try and get it to load.
is this because of fiddler, i have closed it already.

If you post your winning score on your FB page there will be a video of your cheat for all your friends to see....so unless you want your friends to find out you are cheating I would just hit "cancel" when Bejewled gives you this option to post your high score....

Hey, before king-ffin-joe starts dissin, i've red the comments.
Anyway, the extension doesn't work for me as it probably should, as what coins are concerned. i can only add max 1600 coins. If i enter 1.000.000 it shows it in green color, so it should work, but is says Invalid get parameters, on sumthin like that. Any ideas?

@Choice-effin-MC: Obviously you have NOT read the comments. Otherwise you would see that everyone and their mom have had the same issue. You would also see a workaround that I posted TWICE, and you would see from the comments after that it works. You can't just enter 1,000,000 coins into the cheat anymore, it doesn't work. But you can READ THE FFIN COMMENTS to find a way to add 1,000,000+ coins.

With the extension you can still change your high score but adding coins is giving an error (I guess there are more then 50 posts here mentioning that !) To get more coins : search for KingJoe's solution in this threat.

Works like a charm. Only thing is that the box doesn't pop up when I hold shift, but not a problem because u can multiply ur selections then hit reissue a bunch of times. 12 mil coins here. That should get me thru next decade LOL... THANKS KINGJOE and CYBERSHADOW ... awesome work !

For everyone that didn't properly read through the comments to find out why you can't get but a few hundred coins at a time. The secret is to load Bejeweled Blitz, put in '100' coins, hit SEND and wait for it to reload. Then hit Ctrl-F4. Repeat this 10x and after that you will have 1,000,00 coins.
If that doesn't work, go back and read the above comments from KingJoe.

Thanks to Cybershadow I succesfully installed his cheat and it worked (works) well. Tried repeatedly to use Kingjoes walkaround, but it is not compatible with my Mac. Someone suggested using "Charles" as an alternative, it is Mac friendly. So, my question is, has anyone with a Mac succesfully installed KJ's walkaround? Or am I missing something? My computer savvy friend has tried to install also and his computer doesn't like the F2 app. Have read comments. Did read DBigelow's send 100 and hit cntrl-F4, but daughter says that won't work on my Mac either. Any help would be much appreciated

Sorry for lack of updates, I've been busy with other projects.
Regarding the coins: I could easily add something like what kingjoe cooked up (thanks for your effort to enlighten the masses, btw), but when every one of the thousands of people who download this cheat start using it, you can bet that PopCap will block it again, and getting around the next limitation is going to be harder. I don't really have time to continuously update my cheat every time when PopCap changes something enough to stop it from working... I plan to instead make a new cheat that allows buying boosts for free... no idea when, though - I'm still swamped.

For those of you who are slow like me, when you read in this thread about slowing down the game, and "Cheat Engine," you will not find that here. Insteadgo here: http://www.top4download.com/free-cheat-engine-5-5-for-bejeweled-blitz/ Go down the page to "cheat engine 5.6" and click download on right. after installing and starting, click on the computer icon under "file" on upper left, which shows the processes you can use the cheat engine on, and search for "Bejblitz.exe" and "Popcapgame1.exe". for each one click "open" and "enable speed hack" and enter your speed variant. Be advised: it slows the entire game down into slow motion, rather than giving you say, 4 minutes at normal speed. Still, with longer times to "read" the board, you will get greater scores. I got 556,000 on my first attempt, and closed the desktop game too late to keep this off the scoreboard
NOTE: This applies to the desktop version of the game. I haven't had luck using it with Chrome, but it works with IE! Just scan for iexplore.exe instead of bejblitz and popcapgame1. Good Luck.

This is a noob-friendly alternative method to kindjoe's. Yep, I'm a noob.
1. Download Charles(full or not). 2. Open Mozilla Firefox. 3. Enable CyberShadow's ultimate hack. 4. Submit any score and coin's value can be set to any hundreds, up to 1600. 5. Check Charles for "labs.popcap.com". 6. Open it up and you should see "report_score.php". 7. Right-click and select Repeat Advanced. 8. On the respective boxes, type in 625 and 10~30. 9. Wait for it to finish. 10. Reload the page. 11. Pwned.
If you entered 1600 coins and set it to 625 times, you should get close to a million coins. If you entered 100, you have to set it to a thousand times which isn't very ideal but you can get close to a thousand medals of the score you have sent.

Thanks CyberShadow and KingJoe! I followed your steps exactly and everything worked the first time. I had a small glitch with Firefox afterwords, but then realized I needed to change the "Force traffic to Fiddler" to "Do not send traffic to Fiddler" setting. Firefox worked fine after that.

For any 1 that wants to try something different:
Last night I created an Auto-Player for Bejeweled Blitz, the game play alone at super speed, you just need to open this Application and select the board square on screen (the coordinates are different for every resolution/browser..). Using it i scored 1,2 million points in my "best luck" game.
This also allows some interaction because it only swaps common gems, not multipliers, but you can pause it just by pressing a key and make a swap yourself.
This is very nice watching it playin at super speed, you can see there game animations like "BLEZZING SPEED!!!".
I have the compiled EXE and also the sourse code in Visual Basic 6, so any 1 having VB6 can see the code and compile the App himself.

The stupid thing about this hack is that after u use it you can't make your score less. So if you write a huge score people will look at ur stats and see u havnt played much and know for sure you're a cheat.

I installed the cheat for Bejeweled Blitz and the extension, and restarted the game on Fb. I was asked to input my score and coins required and then I sent. It went nowhere and I was told that Servier 1 invalid - get parameters. I cleared the cache files and it still had the same response. Can you suggest anything please? Thx.

The cheat does work, but you can only go in and add a score that you want. When you do that make sure you dont post a replay to your friends or they will see that you cheated. Also Ros the reason you got the get parameters message was you tried to add to many coins at one time. You can only add 1600 per cheat game.....example if you put a score in at 600,000 you can only put in 1600 for coins. If you go higher then the 1600 you get the get parameters message.

Hey I downloaded a few extensions and what not tonight.. When I go to the game now it gives me the option to set my score and points, well thats not the one i wanted.. First off @CyberShadow you are really great at what you do. I've looked at your other projects and your really got a great mind.
I've installed the extension and it worked fine. I must say your other work a rounds at Bejeweled are more fun. This one is a little boring. The other way you had it, people could see a play back video of the game. Now when people click on the video it just plays the video you made to enter your score you want.
Anyway, your still the best!!!!

A couple of days ago I installed as directed and it worked. Not as much fun as I had hoped it to be, but nonetheless, it did work until the night of August 8, 2010. When I returned to the game I was shown the title banner, players, bottom banner, but no game. I only pulled up the game after I "uninstalled" the cheat, so Facebook must be wise to this one and stopped it. Any advice?

For those who complained about lack of Mac OS X support, I use Fusion to emulate Windows. Fiddler, Firefox and Cybershadow's cheats work perfectly. I also looked into Charles for Mac but I didn't want a free trial that will probably be crippled or time out after time.
That is my experience! I now have over 2,000,000 coins! (and counting!!)

I repeat once again, the CYbersahdow cheat and Kingjoe's add-in (fiddler2) works!! How many more times. If you don't or cant get it to work then do not complain anymore on this thresd!! When I got to the step of going back to Fiddler and hilighting the "report score" line I did not see any line that said that. Also to help out and make my contribution, here is an Autoit script to augment this one so you can do this while AFK!
insert starts and stops this script, esc ends it. Just change the line that says "Send(100000)" to whatever points you want it to give you, gold is set to max as a default I set the sleep times on the script a little slower, in case some of you have lag or slower computers. I didn't compile this to an exe < to show the source so you know its clean > so you will need autoit to run this script < google autoit, its a free download >
Also, this script is set up to never post scores, obviously, and was made in 1920x1080 resolution so may not work in smaller desktop spaces.

Sirgijoe, sorry for my noobines but I couldn't get this script to work. I installed autoit -> copy pasted your code to SciTE Script Editor and saved -> compiled it to .exe. -> opened bejeweled with cybershadows extension -> run the exe. Today I switched to another web server to serve the replacement files, in order to reduce the load on the server (replaced Apache with thttpd).
Everything seems to work fine, but let me know if something broke.

Everything has been working fine up until today? The Bejewled screen loads but the game is missing? Is there something new I need to do? I have been using this latest version since day one without any problems until today.....Thanks for your help

Worked GREAT until today. I updated both Firefox and flash last Friday. It was working fine until today now it won't load the game screen. Friends and points load but no score board with the coins. If I disable the add-on the game loads without the cheats.

ok...I deleted and re-downloaded the extension....I cleared my cache, and even rebooted my system....and still all I get when I go to Bejeweled is the score board and nothing else? The game itself does not even load onto the screen. This started happening sometime today because last night/early this morning it was working fine

looks like you copy and pasted the code in the first post that got messed up upon submitting to this site, use the code in the pasetbin link in my second post
Tips for using Pastebin for beginers ! When copy and pasteing from pastebin, be sure to select the "Raw" code source located in the upper right hand corner of the document. if you copy and paste it from the first page, you will have errors because it will insert the line numbers into the code. or, you can select "Download" and it will download the source code directly into a text document for easy copy and paste also,
I recommend just hitting the "Raw" code tho, as that way you wont have to download any files, and you can view the source code before you copy and paste!
Also, here is a "Updated version" of that simple macro I made, that will grant Random scores, so your not always getting the same score over and over! http://pastebin.com/zNxxfQEn

CyberShadow, great work will this cheat, however it does not appear to work today. I uninstalled it, re-installed it and cleared all the cache from the browser. Scores appear on the right, but no cheat window. Any chance we can get this fixed asap? Thanks again for all your hard work

Same issue here, clearing cache doesn't do it. Game area is blank but scores are posted. Disabled add-on and their game come up fine (in Firefox). Pop-cap added some kind of rating medal thing. Cheat worked for a while with that addition but quit now.

hey! i used this cheat before and it worked great but now it doesn't :( the game loads with friends' scores and everything but the game area is just grey. do you know if Pop cap changed something that stopped the cheat? Are u working on something new??
